Our outreach programme for Town Of Runners engages young people and runners worldwide to collaborate with those in Bekoji, to:

" use the film to enable Bekoji to create self-sustaining economic development in the town, building on its key strength (its international fame in running);

" build the capacity of Bekoji to develop its running infrastructure, creating opportunities for runners to develop their careers and offering education in sports related careers for those who do not achieve elite running levels.

We want to use the film to buildpartnerships between running clubs and Bekoji that will sustain these developments, and inspire disadvantaged young people worldwide to pursue their dreams: to engage young people who do not see sport as a significant part of their lives and to extend the horizons of those actively engaged in sport.
