Met Film Production was formed in 2007 with the transition of the entire team behind APT Films, producers of the award-winning feature documentary Deep Water, the highly acclaimed Wondrous Oblivion, and the Academy Award nominated Solomon & Gaenor.
As a production company, we develop projects which ignite our collective passions, from documentary to fiction, from small to high budget, and across genres.
Our documentary department has become acclaimed for ambitious independent feature length films for cinema and television, including the award-winning Men Who Swim, directed by Dylan Williams, and Jerry Rothwell's Donor Unknown and Heavy Load. Currently we are in production on Sarah Gavron's On The Edge. In development are Jeanie FInlay's Hip Hop Hoax, Poppy Simpson's Black Like Me and Jerry Rothwell's How To Change The World.
Met's fiction department released the features French Film and Little Ashes in 2009 and The Infidel, starring Omid Djalili and Richard Schiff, in 2010.
